Burniefloyd's Gallery

Post by Burniefloyd »

Spent a lot of quarantine time on the forums and stumbled across a thread on Tamiya club for a member who built a supercar collection.

Well after multiple Ford v. Ferrari viewings I picked up a few bodies. Unfortunately I have never owned an on-road car so I had to start shopping for those as well

Here is the first one completed - This is a Tamiya TRF 415MSX with an HPI #7433 Lotus Elise body shell. I used magnetic mounts so I didn't have to drill though the body. I do have a nice set of blue and chrome wheels on the slow boat from China that should finish this off nicely.

A new package arrived today! I think they match the blue anodizing perfectly.

Here is a shot of my completed shelf in the living room entertainment center.

This is completed/mostly completed shelf. They just need final details or cleaning before calling them officially finished.

Then there are another 6/8/10 or so on the basement shelves. They are in various stages of completion and may or may not be sold off to buy parts for other cars.
