Yeh, they came up when searching google. I want a solution that does NOT include C clips.
What I have found is that the captured pins made for the Slash fit the front outsides of the RC10, They're a little long, but dont hit anything.

Captured hinge pins?
Has anyone found a set of captured hinge pins that fit the outer hings pins on an RC10? Even with e-clips, one of mine fell off 3 times. I need a more permanent solution.

Re: What is a good transmitter?
Never had any glitching issues with the 2 Airtronics MT4's and the new MT44. Ever. Personally I don't like Spectrum radios, they just don't "feel" right to me. The Airtronics and Sanwa units feel great, which equates to driving the car better. The older receivers are affordable, and there;...

Re: What is a good transmitter?
Are you looking new, or used? Used you can pick up a Sanwa/Airtronics MT4, which is an excellent radio. Also a very popular radio, and will have every feature you'll likely need. Plus, these use the "old" stile receivers which are affordable. Don't buy *anything* new in the $100 range, you...

Re: Optima Truck Build
BITD I built an Optima truck, I'll see if I can find pics of it, but that might take some digging.
It was basically a short course truck before there was ever that class.

Re: Is there a 3S lipo that fits nice in the rc10 worlds re re?
The reason you aren't finding any info on it, is that nobody does it. A 2s hi-C rating pack with a fast motor is WAY more than enough for these cars. A 3s system would grenade the tranny in short order. In addition, they won't fit in the stock battery cups anyways. Maybe length and width if you're l...

Tires just balloon, that's how it is. Most of the tricks have downsides as well. Just let them balloon and you'll be fine.

If you aren't going far, like at a track, it can just be tucked under the body, rolled up, or whatever. None of my cars have an antennae anymore.

Re: Show me your Gold Pan electronics layouts
Definitely center the battery. Being offset will make it heavy on that one side. I had to drill 4 small holes on mine.

Check out mine. I had the same issue with my castle esc. Weight seems better balanced now as a result anyways.

Re: No 2wd racers? Oh wait!
I put grey springs in the rear and that made a big difference. Also found the hitec servo was way too slow, so it now has a Savox. Some weight was added to the nose. All in all, it handles WAY better than it used to, I'm quite pleased.
