Re: Dave's Graphite Resto

DaveM,

I've just noticed what looks to be an RC10 battery tray mounted on your rear bulkhead. Then you mounted your ESC to that.....
I must say, I have never seen that before, but I really like. I think I'm going to steal that idea....

Re: New Composite RC10 buggy.....

Should be a good project! :) Thanks DaveM.... I pulled some stuff off the chassis, including the transmission. Trying to get an idea of what I want to do with the chassis, pretty sure that I want to get rid of all the dyed parts at this time. I need to start a parts list..... Unknown on brand of sh...

Thanks Jimbo302, the RC10 has been sitting here for awhile with no updates. Trying to get this up and running for the summer months.

Re: RC10 CE Stealth Rebuild

Did a little work on the buggy...... I pulled Dhawk steering cranks off and substituted in a Houge set off of a parts buggy I had sitting around. Then I pulled the stealth transmission off the chassis and tighten down the hub assembly. Once I re-installed the transmission and tested the RC10 it now ...

New Composite RC10 buggy.....

I found what I believe is some sort of Composite RC10 buggy on Ebay. Anyways I purchased this buggy and I will begin trying redo a couple things to get it up and running again. I did notice during my inspection that there is a thin metal plate sitting between the chassis and the Stealth transmission...

Re: RC10 CE Stealth Rebuild

I was messing around with these T.Q.-70 front tires and decided to mount them on these wheels that I picked up awhile ago. I had to set the tires out in the sun to get them soft enough to work them on the front wheels. Anyways, just looking at my options of what wheel/tire combo I want to go with. I...

Re: RC10 CE Stealth Rebuild

Andy's bodies on ebay are treat quality for the money. He has been doing up quite a few lately. Check out some of Andy's bodies and you pry won't be dissappointed. If he doesn't have any rc10 at the moment keep an eye out for him since he's been pumping out the renegades quite regularly... Todd Tha...

Re: RC10 CE Stealth Rebuild

Couple of updates with the buggy here..... I have installed the rear shocks along with the rear wheels/tires. I am holding off on doing the final adjustment on the rear shocks for now. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x58/eriksocha/IMG_3184.jpg Before that was completed I installed the rear JConce...

Re: Vintage Yokomo 834b

Not much to update here. I have been cleaning parts from the front end of the 834b. Any ideas on the best way to clean bearings? Just a good wipe down do or should I soak then in anything? Here are some of the parts that I have acquired..... http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x58/eriksocha/IMG_3140....

Re: RC10 CE Stealth Rebuild

from my experience: the RERE gold nose AE looks like they tried to match the more early chassis anodized color. the later gold chassis is brighter and more orange. the early is more grey and dull. side by side the color is very starkly different between the CE coloring and the re-release coloring. ...

I picked up these black nose brace tubes the other day and just put them on the tub.
Now it's time to start working on the rear end.

I like that idea, I'm going to give that a shot. Thanks for the input.
