Well, that's good to know. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, have had them for about a year now. I'm not really into collecting Losi, I've owned a few over the years though. First thing I wanted to do is find out exactly what I had and go from there.

I was right on the XX then. I had been looking don't like looks it's gonna be easy to find a chassis, don't know if it's even worth it. As far as the XXX, can't even find front buggy arms for it to put it back the way it's supposed to be.

OK, kinda what I was thinking, all signs point to the car coming with the Rooster (going by what the PO owner said) but there is no way to really verify as I don't have the box or manual, anything like that.

A friend gave me a couple old Losi buggies a while back and they have been sitting around in the garage in a box of junk. I don't know which cars they are or if they are worth bringing back to life. The one buggy, someone put truck arms on the front, which looks ridiculous, they are both pretty much...

Any ideas ? Basically I want to know if this might be legit, did the Rooster edition kits come with the all black parts?

Not too much happening on the B2 rebuild right now, pretty much stopped at the spur gear. My original one isn't too bad really, just a little warped, but I figured I'd replace it while I was there. Thanks, it's far from perfect, but it's in really good condition overall. Looks like a battery leaked in the tub at one point, so there is a spot where the anodizing is messed up, that's the worst thing on the car really.

Since this car appears to be the "early" CE model, I'm guessing that this motor would be appropriate to stick in it. I have a couple of these, I cleaned it all up, put new brushes in it, lubed it and tested it, it's good to go. http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/s656/Jeepy2013/Mobile%20Up...
