My XX-CR
Hey guys! Just wanted to share a few pics. I got this XX from Kijiji, it looks like the previous owner was a racer. It came with a ton of spares, almost enough for another build :)....including a Hydradrive and a NIP A-8040 body (for my next build). Currently I have a double slipper setup because I'...

Re: Easy Hinge Pin Restoration Method
Yup, good stuff. Works on shock shafts too. Good one! Didn't even think of that! Always good to see these tips pop up, I have a RC RaceCar from 91 with this as a "Trick Tip". Perhaps we should have a "Trick Tip" section :?: Any tips that would help someone with a restoration wou...

Easy Hinge Pin Restoration Method
I'm sure many of you know this method of cleaning hinge pins, but it is new to me, and hopefully it might help a few people during their restorations and rebuilds. I've just finished restoring an old XX-CR Graphite, and during the cleaning process I thought that the hinge pins were beyond repair and...

XX-CR Turnbuckle Length?
I'm looking at an online pdf manual, and it says to build the turnbuckles to the same size as the picture, but the pdf isn't 1/1 scale. Does anyone know the length of the front and rear camber links and the toe links? Thank you in advance!

knixdad - Thank you very much for that info! I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't do a search on here...I would have found that one post based on the keywords. Again thank you, I am becoming really interested in these XX cars!

Fantom purple aluminum rear bulkhead?
Hey guys, I'm currently tearing down an XX-CR, and I realized that I haven't seen the rear bulkhead that I have, anywhere. I also have a purple aluminum front tiebar that is Fantom, so I think the bulkhead might possibly be by Fantom too. Anyone know what I have here? Is it rare? http://i.imgur.com/...

Re: New guy from Ottawa, Canada
Hey guys thanks for the welcome! 8rad - Nice I didn't even think there would be local people on here! Also, I know nothing about the car or who had it originally, so I don't know about the shocks...sorry man. integra22t - Sweet! I would love to race in the future, I should check the Kingston track o...
