Re: lmwong RC10 B4.2, retro protech body
This really came out great. Love the Protech look on the B4. It stand out nicely and this chassis, having taken 5 world titles, does the old look a lot of justice. Regarding the center mounted electronics: where did you get the hardware to mount the ESC in the middle of the chassis? I see that alumi...

Great write up man. It’s been long overdue. So far everything we’ve tried and experimented w has been working. Sure was costly getting to this point, but what are hobbies for!?

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build
Did you make the machine battery box? That is a nice piece. I am talking about the one holding the 2s Lipo, not the bulkhead above... I understand about hiding the motor standoffs. The neoprene gaskets can be trimmed to show the spacers and still hold themselves in place, as you probably remember fr...

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build
This is an awesome build. I am considering one now that I see it.
Take a look at the neoprene stealth transmission gaskets, now available on eBay in gray, blue, purple. They are the best. Car looks fantastic.

I used Road Hawgs for years from the time they came out. Just put my last new set on an old RC10 B3. I too wish Pro-Line would remake these tires. They would sell like mad...

Re: Reedy 1000z+ trouble?
The lipo battery solved the problem. Also, I've never seen that much power. Wow. Makes these brushless motors shine. Need to tame it back a bit.
Thanks all for the help.

I love this car. What an amazing build all around. Great job there. Ever put together a parts list or produce these parts as a kit?

Re: Reedy 1000z+ trouble?
I tried the glitch buster; Same result. Funny thing was when I put my Fluke meter on the BEC terminals to find the + I only got 5.08 V on the meter from a full charged older scrc battery.
I'm gonna try a lipo battey.

Re: Reedy 1000z+ trouble?
I've been doing some reading and thinking on this. And some experimenting. I think if I add a power diode or glitch saver this could solve my issue. My radio is glitchier than it ever was and I think a voltage drop w my hitec servo through this old futaba receiver is causing the ESC to go into a saf...

Re: Reedy 1000z+ trouble?
I'm using nimh and nicd batteries. The nicds are balanced/matched but old. The nimh are junk. They both worked fine several weeks ago.
I will check the sensor wire and report back.
