Well that explains why the body didn't line up.

Re: Another RC10T restore.
Love that paint job, sick looking T, clean and tidy. over the past few weeks I've picked up a slew of parts, some trial and error others are spot on. i'll post pics and a list in the next week or so as it will finally be running. what kind of difference do you see running the 81t spur vs the 87t? w...

Re: Another RC10T restore.
If you haven't done the T4 top shaft conversion yet, here is a list of parts you'll need. I just finished mine and it runs great and holds the power of the 13.5T that I'm running on carpet. I found a nearly complete kit on eBay and just needed the top shaft. ASC9601 - Top Shaft ASC7485 - V2 Slipper...

Re: Dynamite Startup Tool Set
This is a great set for the price, however, if you work on a really tight bolt the handle will start to slip and break. A replacement handle is available to buy, but it’s $10. If only they could improve the handle this would be a terrific set. Also, I really only use this on my boy’s Traxxas models ...

Re: RC10T 1990 Florida Winter Champs Cliff Lett Style
Absolutely awesome! I got an RC10T 25+ years ago after seeing this truck in RC Car Action magazine. I've got two replicas, one is my original truck that I've updated with modern running gear. I run it at a local track on carpet. I also bought a shelf queen on eBay that I'm putting vintage electronic...

Re: Building a Shelfer 10T from a Pile of Parts
Still need to paint the body on the "Shelfer", but in the meantime, I started going thru parts, doing some cleaning, etc, and started putting together a runner as well. I think I have enough to build a 3rd 10T that I'll put up on eBay and recoup some cost from building the others. So far ...

Re: RC10T Ebay Runner Project
Coming along nicely! Those front springs do look a little short. There are plenty on eBay for the T4 that should fit. If it's a parking lot runner I'd chose a firm spring like Red. I use the silver medium spring for carpet racing at the local track. That is where the preload starts, so I wasn't sur...

Looks awesome. I regretted not picking up one of those chassis' on ebay. I need one for my runner. I have a shelf queen replica, but I'd like to race one too.

Re: Original 6 Gear transmission to Stealth w/VTS slipper parts list
I'm doing the B4 Top Shaft upgrade to my Stealth Transmission and I thought I'd post the part numbers needed in case anyone else is wondering. Great information here. Thanks for posting. I needed that info on the end links and b4/t4 top shaft. Looking to make the same mods to my truck.

Re: New Worlds Build and Racer
Hi all,
Just thought I'd post in here and mention that Windy City moved to a new, much bigger facility. The off road track is huge and is now on-road carpet instead of the turf, so clay or foam tires work well. I brought my RC10T there this weekend and had a blast.
