Nice, Timewarp is my favorite track in the area. They race vintage on occasion there too.
I could see turf being a little easier learning curve without needing setup changes, but I actually like car setup being a part of racing. It makes the finishing order a little less predictable when there are more factors than just driving to consider.
Mid motor will definitely be faster on the high traction tracks, which just about all the local ones are.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd post in here and mention that Windy City moved to a new, much bigger facility. The off road track is huge and is now on-road carpet instead of the turf, so clay or foam tires work well. I brought my RC10T there this weekend and had a blast.
