Re: Built for the Shelf Versus built to Run

I concur with the other members, the majority of my cars are shelfers but they are all functional & set up to run with painted bodies. If there are faults with them that would affect running, I would consider them unfinished.

Re: Interesting Radio Mod

I started out using a Futaba stick radio (a carry-over from my RC plane days) then "moved up" to a Futaba Magnum Jr. wheel radio when I started racing buggies. I recall being a bit disappointed because I thought I had more precise control using the stick system. In the UK the vast majorit...

I use 1800 nimh stick packs, remove the plastic end caps & re-shrinkwrap. They fit.

It's a bit difficult knowing exactly what you are missing but will this help you out? 3 hole wheels fit this conversion.

Re: Laser Mini Pro esc 1989

For comparison, here's the earlier pre-FET Laser Compact (i believe it to be this model or very similar), the layout is the same as above with the relays on the opposite side of the board.

You can see the pots I mentioned

Here's a Laser Comfet I recently picked up. It has reverse with the relays under the board like other Laser's.

Re: RC10 with graphite frame, which model is it?

I wanted to ask you what body to put on this model, I mean what research I need to do to find a body to paint that can be adapted to him, even something modern reprinted for him. I write from Italy and it is not easy to find it here. As your car is the 6 gear, the correct body for that version is a...

Re: RC10 with graphite frame, which model is it?

Hi, so it's an RC10 Graphite (1st gen) introduced in 1989, it looks like all of the parts are original. The only thing that is not original is the two holes in the nose, these have been added. They are collectable & yours looks to be in good condition. You can check the history of all of ...
