Re: lazer zx New questions
Belts shouldnt be tight so something isnt right.
Spurs well ive designed a couple and RW sells them. All depends on what your going to do with the car. Let me know and am always available to advise.

Re: What is your opinion of the Pro-X ?
I remember Bob Gammon chucking his car at the end of an event and calling Associated for a full drive. He said the car was utter rubbish, yes looked great but handled like a brick. Its a shame as Kyosho went backwards in 2wd and forwards in 4wd at that time.

Re: Lazer ZXR series?
Thing is the zx, zxr, zxs are an evolution of belt drives but the zx5 is a shaft so really isnt a lazer. If the zx5 is not a Lazer then you could also say that the first ZX was not a Lazer. Just a refined Optima Mid  Do you know why they went from belt to shaft, if you did then youd unders...

Re: lazer zx several questions
I would advise looking thru the last 30 or so pages on the vintage zx / zxr thread on oople as i listed all the part numbers for the rebuildable ujs. They are superb. I bought two bones of LA232 and a complete pair of LA245. I then used a pair of axles i had by chance and fitted perfectly, however L...

Re: lazer zx
Kamtec do a zx-s shell and comes with undertray. Tight fit but looks super or buy a repro zxr undertray and buy the kamtec Parma tomcat bodyshell, which is what I use now. If you hold on for four months you should be able to buy a new carbon fibre tub chassis for the ZX / ZXR from Fibre lyte, once i...

Re: T3 extra long chassis
Two lengths, three if you include the standard B3 chassis. I cant use a standard of long so needs to be extra long. Im surprised its nowhere to be seen as there must have been a few made. Items listed below. 7302 T3/B3/B2 CHASSIS, LONG, molded composite. Max. length for B3/B2. Uses #9330 or #9331 ba...

Re: Kyosho Equalizer Shocks
In 94 they were being tested on the zxs evo protos but they were on my RB type r when it was sent to me when it was released. They did have orange or gold coloured versions available as well for the zxr.losiXXXman wrote:Didn't those debut on the Ultima RB Type R?....and the truck version?

Re: Just Another ZX-S
Yes, if its Kamtec selling them, and my shell is still being used and looks just as good. That pictures shows the very first repro ever made by Kamtec of this shell. Of course mine has been battered and bruised since then but you wouldnt think so when you look at it. Kamtec make a thicker shell and ...

The pictures dont show all the detail as it kindof changes when you move around the shell. Im very happy this has ...
