To be honest when I started with RC10s I only wanted three a 6010, a CE and a composite of some description and that's one of the reasons I haven't bought all sorts of piles to build up the parts box, I'm going to try and make the Tekin the last one .

I think the Tekin comes with it own rear arms :?: , I have a few new bodies lying around I can use for the Tekin, the hotbodies body looks rubbish on the comp chassis. I'm defo going to give it some thought I might put it back how it was and put the spare 6 gear trans I have in it :? Great advice gu...

I know what you mean ra272 but I have a Tekin chassis on it's way for the coxyben car, I think I might give it some more thought. Thanks Guys.

Just my own personal opinion... But that looks like the makings of a very nice original RC10. Wouldn't that composite chassis be a little more appropriate for a 6-gear CE or Graphite wide arm kit, or some kind of aftermarket suspension? Seems a shame to use up a nice early car for that chassis. I k...

My first reworked Composite project.

Well for my first go I'm quite pleased with how this has turned out :D I hope you guys think it's ok for a first bash too. It's not finished yet as I still have a nip gold motor guerd to fit and I plan putting my Sees rims on it when I clean them up, these chrome covers will eventually go on a box a...

You might be right on the slipper design I bought this one built but I will check the instructions. Anyway here is a picture of my Dyna Storm to refresh your memory and yes this was after the Super Astute and the last of the Tamiya 2WD race spec cars.

It was first released in 1991, it's a slipper mated to a planetary gear diff, for some reason Jamie Booth thought this was the future.

I think what I might do is strip this back down and integrate one of my 6010 cars into it as I planned and use this nice stealth car for the Tekin chassis that's on its way. :D

Super Astute

I know this is probably going to get a bit looked down on but it's one of my favourite none Associated cars. I have a mint box and instructions and they are getting a bit rear in un run condition.

Thanks Sharkman, the car came with a stealth that I wanted to use as I was considering running it in vintage competitions. I do have a couple of 6 gear trans I can put in it, I don't want to drill it I'm not that confident and I have seen a few properly messed up doing it.

My first composite RC10 project

You guys make this project stuff look a lot easier than it is  So this chassis hasn't got enough holes for a stealth so it must be fore a 6 gear tranny right :?: This body don't go around this chassis massive girth is there a one that will :?:. I look forward to all the laughing smilies but ca...
