Re: Hello I think I got a good deal off of evilbay on a rc10

Got it today, not as minty white as I had hoped, seems like the years and the greasy box made the parts dinge a little. It's also missing a few parts, a plastic rear shock insert,( the white thinng that goes between the shock and the screw it rests on), A front nose tube brace, a battery retainer, a...

Re: Fun racing classes what's the most unique race you've seen?

It would be fun to do it with some running junkers, deal is no one would race their own car, you would swap controllers randomly right before the race. It would add a twist to the race and no one would want to soup up their car being that it wasn't the one that they would race. Each car would do one...

I see fake ponds alot of places, line them up or strtch one out and you got a course. Throw in mud and other swap like grass.

Re: my best optima

Awesome, I'm trying to secure my first shelf queen optima, ethier an optima or turbo.

I would put a clear shell on it, you want to still show off the gold without paint getting in the way.

What other colors were there in the day? Is there an online guide to all the rc10 editions produced?

Hmmm in today's eco minded world , I wonder how an endurance race would go over? Whoever's last car on the track still running wins or would it be just based on lap counts?

Re: So are the days of our lives.....

1/1 scale racing. people build RC cars from local junkyard cars and run them through hell races and crash derbies.

Batteryless cars, power is transmitted to them from the controller.

Swamp car races

Re: So are the days of our lives.....

Yeah most definitely, a hobby retailer that carried parts could get swamped easily. That's probably why alot of them promote only certain types of racing, micro, off road, trucks, touring and then to mention all the non car rc stuff, planes, boats, helis.

I'd use a rubber endcap on the motor and ballons work great for the reciever, the esb would be the hardest to seal against possible moistre.
