UK stock car oval racing world final reports
I have a huge collection of oval racing reports from here in the UK from the early 70s through to the late 90s and so figured might as well upload some of the larger events and create an archive of a once hugely popular but now rapidly dwindling sport. First up the 1993 worlds report from the Januar...

Cougartooz Collection
Starting to pull some of my old cars down from the loft to clean up and do something with, so I figured I might as well photograph them and share them on here as I go. First up is my 1/8 hotrod. Hotrods are different here in the UK to the US as over here they are a class of oval racing using current...

Re: Ultimate Egress, Vanquish Front Caster Modification (needs to be made)
I still have the car in the loft, I'll dig it out at some point and photo it for you. It was a long long time ago and set up details are now hazy but I used to run without the sway bars usually I think and with associated shocks. I generally ran with the one way fitted though occasionally Id run wit...

Re: Thinking of vintage racing my RC10
Thanks folks, soaking the parts was not something I was aware of so top tip there. Also youve just introduced me to shapeways so theres a little game changer right there! Im having chats with fibrelyte here in the UK about the shock tower, if no joy there Ill give factory works a go.

Re: Ultimate Egress, Vanquish Front Caster Modification (needs to be made)
I ran an egress for many years back in the day, I used to heat the front wishbones, put a screw driver through the mounting holes and twist them back slightly thus gaining some caster (albeit never a very precise amount!). There were a few Egress drivers at the club and they all ran like this. It wa...

Thinking of vintage racing my RC10
As per title im just getting back into racing after 25 years away. Ive got a B6.1 but my local club also runs vintage races so Im thinking of campaigning one of my old RC10 team cars. First question is parts availability seems pretty sparse for these cars currently so am I going to end up waiting fo...
