Best chemicals / methods for stripping paint from old bodies.
Hey all, I picked up a High Rider II Corvette that came in a box with miscellaneous parts for a ridiculously good price. Going through, I think it is complete. I was going to use it as runner for my kids but it in in really good shape. Even the body is good with very minor scratches, some trimming t...

Re: RC10 B4 vs RB10
Remember that Associated is just a sticker on a Thunder Tiger box. The Associated line is just another opportunity to add sales channels to their existing brands. Now the advantage of that could be for when an Associated designed car hits a mass market distribution. That makes spare parts plentiful ...

Re: RC10 B4 vs RB10
Am I thinking about this wrong? That actually sounds pretty good. It does sound good. That is what made me wonder about it. It could be an old school type car with tons of parts. Like somebody else said, a parts bin car will have parts for a while. I am wondering if the old B4 bodies will fit. Woul...

RC10 B4 vs RB10
I was just looking at Associated press release for the RB10. Is it me or does this look like a rehash of the RC10 B4 with updated electronics and a new body?

Re: Displaying / Stroring Your Cars
You may find some ideas here; https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=2519&hilit=how+does+your+workspace+look That first pic is kind of like what my space looks like now. I was thinking about something like this but was wondering if any one has any ideas. Just something to keep my wi...

Displaying / Stroring Your Cars
I have a few cars laying around and my wife gets on me for not having them well enough organized. Some are mint to near mint while others are to clean up / rebuild. The remaining are to run. Half are in boxes that are stacked while the other are on or under the the work bench. A lot of them are 20 -...

Re: Losi LXT?
Yeah it is in pretty good shape. Yes, Lunsford turnbuckles and I didn't notice the gear cover until you pointed it out. It looks like something had been previously screwed in the mounting holes just in front of the bulkhead. Only thing I can thing of would be a receiver tray or something similar but...

Losi LXT?
I came across this truck for a ridiculously low price and could not pass it up. It is obviously a Losi but being into Associated in the past, I have no idea what it is. I have searched the web briefly but did not find anything that matched exactly. I am guessing it is an LXT missing some parts? Thou...

The car looks like it is just out of the box. Fiberglass looks excellent. Job well done.

Re: First time RC12L resto.
I don't know what motor is appropriate, but I'd say that it deserves a Reedy motor. Putting anything else in it would be blasphemy.
As an Associated fan, I agree completely.

Re: 91 team car with moo paint
Go to agree with you on the tracks . I don"t understand what happened to the old dirt tracks. I left the hobby in 93 and then recently started trying to get back in with my son and the tracks and cars just don't have the appeal. The local off road track is carpet? How is carpet off road?I am th...

Re: Radio opinions
I still use older Futaba, Airtronics, and JR analog radios. Most of them still have the features that you actually use, including endpoints and model memory. In addition to that, they don't have binding or brand compatibility issues. All of my transmitters and receivers on that band will work toget...
