Thank you!

Re: RC10GT Pull Start Replacement

Will something like this work? https://www.amazon.com/Dynamite-String-Pull-Start-DYN6230/dp/B0006O5212 . It doesn't look too bad to repair just the string from what I am seeing on YouTube. Edit: for some reason it won't let me paste the link. It is for a generic Dynamite pull start string part numbe...

Re: RC10GT Pull Start Replacement

Oh nice :) Thank you. Just the string is broken. I guess I was hoping to replace just that. I am not sure if that is a realistic option though. I know these can be a real hassle to fix if only one part is broken. I also need an o-ring that goes inside the high speed needle. The old one was toast. I ...

RC10GT Pull Start Replacement

The string for my 90s RC10GT pull start broke. What part do I get to fix it? It it easiest to just replace the whole assembly? It had a mid-90s Dynamite .12PD engine in it.

Ok cool:) I have that on the way.

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT

Ok I am going for the VP racing Master basher fuel. Hopefully that is appropriate for my scenario. It has a higher percentage of caster oil apparently.

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT

Is the VP Racing Fuel ok for my old RC10GT? The stuff I can get with free shipping is the VP PowerMaster Car 20% Nitro 9% Synthetic Castor Oil. I have an old Dynamite .12PD engine in my truck.

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT

Those are notorious for causing problems. The spring loaded contacts can be a problem when you fasten the unit down. I would highly recommend using a proper receiver pack. These 6v rechargable packs are cheap and work well. Also don't use a switch. Just an extension. Plug it in to use it, unplug wh...

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT

So all that stuff is compatible? My experience has only been to buy all that stuff as a package. With minor differences in the plug shape, pretty much all three wire servos are compatible with current receivers. Everyone uses compatible wiring now. Not all receivers have the slot for a Futaba J plu...

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT

I still like my RadioLink V2. I actually just ordered a V3 to replace it, because I am going to leave my V2 with my Infraction that I am selling. The V3 has 30 models, and the ~$17 receivers for it have gyros, which I like. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRK3RBCM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title This...

Yeah I can find a package with a transmitter, receiver and 1 servo but not two except for a questionable eBay listing.
