17.5 in a Stealth Transmission
Anyone try a modern 17.5 brushless in a older 2.25 stealth transmission. I would be really curious to know how it went. It should be a lot easier to gear because of the lower transmission ratio. Please let me know if you have done this, how it felt on the track.

Re: Triva Question
one year I think they won stock - but I wasn't sure it was their first attempt or not. back with the TRX-1 it was list 87 or 88. Thanks for the info - TQ won it's first National title today - at our first ever ROAR Nationals - just curious if it was done before. Except for Associated in the modern e...

Re: Triva Question
Sorry, should have stated it better - i was talking ROAR Nationals - but thanks for the worlds side of it - hadn't thought about that. Kyosho didnt enter the electric worlds before '87 - interesting because I know they were around with motors and such.

Triva Question
I am looking for some history stuff - 2 questions about r/c companies and national championships. Since 1990, has any r/c company, in its first ever attempt at designing a chassis ever won an electric off road national championship? Has it been done since Associated won their first national champion...

Re: Custom Works
I have great memories of the Dominator I had back in the early '90s. Didn't know anything about it except - put a modified motor in and try and hold on. It would be cool to have a Dominator on the shelf - if I could afford to do that sort of thing.

Re: Request~ Kinwald and the Tenth Technology Predator???
Going to close the page - it looks like they reviewed a Predator in the Sept. 96 RCCA - if anyone has a subscription to the article archives it would be interesting to see what they said back then.

Re: Request~ Kinwald and the Tenth Technology Predator???
Doing a little more research - it should be the July 96 issue of RCCA - it has Matt Lee's Losi on the cover and a hit between Kinwald and Pavidis. For some reason I thought it was earlier like 93-94. I went for like 4 straight years. Anyway. Whether its RCCA or another mag - I would be interested to...

Request~ Kinwald and the Tenth Technology Predator???
Does anyone have the issues of RCCA or Racer where they covered Brian Kinwald using the Predator. I believe it was 1993 or 1994. I know he used the car at the Florida WinterChamps (I was there). I am not sure if he used it at the ROAR Nats that year or not. Or if anyone articles on the older Predato...

Re: Trinity 1987 Monster Japanese Edition?
When I used to work for Trinity, they did have a line of motors that was sold scrictly for Japanese racing regs. I don't know about the one you pictured. The ones they had when i worked there - '99 to '01, were 23 turn with bearings and adjustable timing. If I remember right at the time the 23 turn ...

Re: New built Yokomo YZ-10 (1994)
Wow - the memories looking at this car!! If I remember right it was 1996, there used to be a huge electric off road race in Florida in Feb - WinterChamps, I think is what they called it - huge event, all the heavy hitters there. I was running for Associated/Reedy and went to this race for the 1st ti...
