Losi IFMAR studs (red compound), J CONSEPTS Goosebumps (green compound) these two tires work very well. The track is a yellow clay/dirt compound , alot of traction when damp, traction is fairly decent when dry. Watering of the track is available.

Yes, there are several hotels in Champaign. Hilton Garden is very nice, not sure on pricing. It is on the south side of Champaign, all little out of the way for Momticello. It's the Best Western Monticello Gateway Inn, 1-877-676-1508 is their booking number. The hotel is very nice with a family restaurant and Mobil gas station next door. I will contact them when it gets a little closer to the date to see if we can get a room discount. Thanks, Rick

I am looking at June 11, 2011 for our next vintage day get-together. Hope it is as much fun as last year. A day of running vintage RC vehicles, just kicking back and having fun. I think this is a early enough notice for people to adjust their schedules to make this one. thanks Rick

Gary Katzer from Horizon Hobbies did a Tamiya Frog re-release test drive at our track at Eli Field. check it out to see the track as it was this year.
