Re: Schumacher Cougar2 TEAM

Hello all, I am brand new to this forum and I must say I love it!. I saw this post and just had to reply. First, a little background about my self. My name is Jeff Wittman, and I recently retired from a nearly 20 year racing carreer with Schumacher and (several others) manufacturers. I absolutelly ...

Re: Schumacher help needed !

Wow there's a question ! I thought they won there European title with hte EC around 1995/6 - to my knowledge the 93 cat was the first car departing away from the ProCat Bosscat design with normal up rights for the shocks. I owned a Cat 2000 back in hte day, and it was unbelieveably good, I did wonde...

Re: Cougar 2000 & Fireblade Questions

I would be tempted to run the cougar with the Fireblade wishbones to increase it's track and stick with the more modern steering assembly from the Fireblade. Unless you want a standard car of course :)

Re: Cougar 2000 & Fireblade Questions

Wow more memories!!! They're ok, but you need to be a bit of a tech head to set them up and get the most out of both Fireblade and Cougar. You'll find 60-70% of the parts are likely interchangable between the two cars :) Diffs drive shafts and hubs especially :)

Enjoy :)

Re: End Of The Line YZ10

That's a lovely model and some excellent history :) It is amazing to think the dear old YZ-10 managed to nearly make the 97 world championships as I remember those cars racing, in early form, back in the early 90s !! Wouldn't it be interesting to know whether in Masami's hands that car could have wo...

Re: Masami's '87 Worlds Schumacher Cat

Just wondering, obviously the UK side of Schumacher has/had all the tooling for both parts and body shells - but did the America side as well? I always assumed the American office was purely a distribution centre rather than a manufacturing centre?

Re: Masami's '87 Worlds Schumacher Cat

Anyone interested in repro's of the SWB CAT shell? I've been asked a few times about reproductions but after the pain and 2 year wait Jeroen went through, I'd have to find someone other than Kamtec to do it. I want to finish my SWB car but can't face cutting out the shell & spraying it without ...

Re: Boss Cat 4x4 Nitro - Storm 2000 Nitro

Wow, you've got an original set of belt covers for a 4x4 Boscat Nitro? - hen's teeth spring to mind - assuming they haven't been cut yet I would strongly recommend taking a plaster-of-paris mold of them, because you simply can't buy them anymore and they are very different too the boscat lexan belt ...

Re: The retro calender of Yokomo's 4WD buggy

I absolutely love the 93 works shell! The shape is sooo nice, I'm not sure about the ultra narrow modern cars of today by comparison, they doesn't look right to me, although I am old skool lol.. Great paint jobs there as well, well done!

Re: Masami's '87 Worlds Schumacher Cat

Absolutely love the picture of all his cars and trophies, he surely has got to be one of the best drivers of all time. Can anyone tell me whether it is a CAT XLS on the bottom left row? I know Masami was a Yohomo man after this drive, sadly for Schumacher... No, it's an original short wheelbase CAT...
