Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2022 ** - Winner - Kedal
My only dogfighter. It is a runner and has been used at the iconic rc revival. I have some foams and plan on running it as a touring car over winter. It was built on a budget and is a poor man's yz10. I have to be the only teenager with a yz10.

Re: Building a Yokomo YZ10 in 2022 - Help
@ RyanTQ10 I actually think I prefer the looks of the pre 94 cars with the bulkhead in front of the shock tower :D but this one appeared and it looked so good I couldn't say no. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for a pre-94 to show up. I'll eventually take it appart for cleaning and then a soft res...

Re: Building a Yokomo YZ10 in 2022 - Help
hey Ryan, As look would have it, after I posted this a few days later a nice YZ10 was posted on the local classifieds and I picked it up for a nice price. I think it looks like a YZ10 Super Dog Figther from 1994. It seems to be in very very good condition. Can you help me confirm what it actualy is...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Do you have an idea of the brand? They're said be be made by a racer local to me in the late 80's. Made them in ...

Re: Give a pro driver a crappy car experiment
I think the point made about "how uncompetitive" results from this experiment is most interesting to me as well. Give Ryan Maifield, Masami Hirosaka, a top local racer, and myself a bone stock Tamiya Grasshopper with a transponder. How different will our times be? Five seconds, three or l...

Re: 2WD buggy from 2022 vs. 4WD buggy from 1992...who would win?
I reckon if there were durability upgrades to the vintage 4wd's drivetrain with modern electronics both cars would have a similar pace but if a modern 4wd was the used the vintage car would be massively outpaced. There has been lots of innovation in the past 20 years.
