My old rustler diff has been pretty solid. But definitely like the new diff on the end. If I ever attempt a rustler build, Id give the new diff a try.

Thats pretty cool. I honsetly miss nimh batteries sometimes. No worrying about puffing or explosions. I wouldn't mind if they came back. I hope eventually they discover a new battery technology that has the run time and out put of lipo, but without the dangers and easier to handle when charging/tran...

I prefer the look of brushed motors and the graphics on the cans. I still have a few kicking around. I just wish it was possible to make brushed motors that performed and lasted as long as brushless motors. Well maybe its possible, but how much would it cost?

Dude that thing is like a time capsule. Glad you found it after nearly 30 years. Id say run it, but with mjdern electronics. Just for the ease of use and longer run times.

Sweet! I didnt know people cared about the radioshack/walmart stuff. I thought everyone only cared about the hobby grade stuff. I have thought about finding a broken radioshack car, gutting it and fitting it with hobby grade electronics. Hahaha
