That's a fantastic score. I always wanted one and was fascinated by the gearbox.
Can't wait to see some video of it running.
I think the old batt will be fine if its an old nicad.

Hey guys, Here's some updated pics of my Zerda that I'll be running at Ryde this weekend. I have just added a Schumacher slipper clutch made possible by adding a custom layshaft, made by Bugle. Your right, both sides of the belt run under the battery. It's not the most efficent design, but at least it keeps
