Tamiya Manta Ray QD

FINALLY found a decent price on a Manta Ray QD, the first hobby grade RC I ever owned. Paid for it with lawn money and drove it a TON. Wish I still had my original, but this one is nearly mint, so I am happy as a clam! Came with the controller, the box and the manual. Alongside a RC10T and a Nexx8 f...

Skinny wheel B chassis RC10T

Pretty much wrapped up my resto-build on my truck. While it's not 100% correct, it does look good and it's clean and straight (although the body isn't lined up straight...). I am pretty proud of it. At any rate: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h58/mmbackpacker/RC/IMG_0125-1.jpg http://i61.photobuc...

Craigslist RC10 X 2

Got a goooood deal on a couple RC10. One is a black pan, in great shape. I believe it is a truck, but it has buggy wheels up front. It is noticeably bigger than the B3 (I think it's a '3), which is also in great shape. neither had a body, which is a bummer, but the tires are all in good shape, some ...

Re: I wanna build a General Lee. What are my options?

Thread Hijack Warning!!! I have been thinking that a slash might make a cool looking General Lee.... The wheels will drop out on the jumps and what would the Dukes be without a lot of slipping and sliding around the corners and jumping creeks? I would absolutely love to see a vintage sheriff car cha...

Slash nationals. Now that would be fun! I want to see some video of that. As much as I LOVE my slash, they are a handful to race. But they sure look cool doing it!

Re: old tyco truck

Its not so much the wheelies that I want as much as it is the memories.... lol. I also would like the body for a scale rock crawler.

Re: old tyco truck

1/20 might work for a scale losi mini rock crawler, that's what I was wondering, thanks.

Yes, the v8 out back takes a couple extra batteries for extra power and wheelies.

old tyco truck

I remember an old tyco my younger brother had in the early 90's.... nissan "hardbody" with an engine in the bed of the truck that added weight and a couple extra "AA" batteries and it made it wheely.... I don't think it was the baja bandit, but I might be wrong. Anybody know whic...

Re: My Ultima pics and some RC10s from the local vintage meeting

Car looks GREAT though, e ven if the painting was a nightmare. I like the integrated wing a lot. I just finished painting a new body for my Ultima so thought I share it here. Decided to treat it with a new body as its one of my favorite runners and I really enjoy running it. Its being continually up...
