Re: Project RC10 A&L Conversion (6/11/2008 updated)

I should clarify the use of 'modeled' as they were not a exact copy, but a bit longer. A&L had the aluminum ones I remember, and Houge made the plastic\nylon versions (what I had)

I think mine is in a box still somewhere.....I should go dig it out....

Re: Marui Samauri ....anyone have photos?

There was a nice picture not so long ago I think in this part of the forum, or maybe it was the shogun? I keep mixing these 2 up all the time  Try the search function (yes I know it's not all that good) Tamiyaclub will surely have some good pics also But you 'll have to look for 'samurai' , n...

Re: Project RC10 A&L Conversion (6/11/2008 updated)

I think the guy who designed the A&L rear suspension lives somewhat near me, and runs\races at my local track. I had a plastic version long ago they we used to refer to 'dieterbuilts' from whom I thought designed the car, but it was claimed to be the other guy....as he told me talking to him a c...

Marui Samauri ....anyone have photos?

Besides the Gold Tub RC10, and the Jrx2, (and Tamiya Frog, but I can get as a re-issue anytime) this is the 1 other vehicle I used to have fun with as a kid.

Anyone have some good photos of a restore? I saw one a couple years back NIB, but I did not have the cash at the time to snatch it up.

Anyone polish a gold tub?

Just curious....I figure it might be different for a shelfer, or I might look into power coating or anodizing after I smooth it out. I have all the tools for polishing, so thought that would be my most economical option. Here is a closeup of my old R1 I did for example: http://img184.imageshack.us/i...

Re: New here, have a JRXT shipping to me

Take off the truck body mounts, and put a buggy body on there...oh, and change the tires...POOF, you have a JRX2. Aren't the arms a bit wider? Here is really the only photo I have of the truck. http://img34.picoodle.com/img/img34/3/12/12/y2kgtp/f_fd701m_3ac4b46.jpg It was a 2 truck auction I won fo...

New here, have a JRXT shipping to me

Hi all, New to the site. I just bought a used Gold Pan (posted over in that section as well) and also got a Used JRXT in a 2 truck auction off of eBay. I really don't have good photos of the truck, but was told it was ok and works fine, so hopefully will have no issues. I can make back more than I p...

New here, decided to pick up a used Gold pan

Hi all, new to this forum. Been racing on and off since early 80's, and I just picked up a rough gold pan because it was cheap, and I had a itch to get some of my old vintage cars I used to have. I had a new 6000 kit when it first came out, and many iterations after that, but thought a Gold Pan woul...
