THe hexes fit onto the 4.7mm dia shafts. Modern hexes tend to be 5mm dia.

I have been 3d printing gears for the cougar 2000 and can now say it is not 48dp and actually 0.5MOD.

By the way, the pistons feel scratchy in the bores. Muzoom dont seem to be stockibng the PTFE pistons anymore. Does anyone know of a similar alternative?

I see. I doubt xray or yokomo would be imperial size. Perhaps its only schumacher that do 1/8" shock shafts.

Hi, I am resotring my cougar 2000 and need to find replacement shock shafts for the rear vari shocks. I have successfully used the Tin coated schumacher big bore 47mm shafts for the front but need longer 55mm items for the rear. Does anyone know of a Tin coated 1/8" diameter 55mm long shock sha...

Would anyone be able to tell me if another ball diff outdrive has a diameter of 19mm? Up to 21mm may also work. The outdrive cups need to be 10mm diameter.

The rascal diff is way bigger. The outdrives look like they are for a 1/8th scale!.... Back to the drawing board.

the cougar 2000 has 48dp internals

I have purchased a used Rascal ball diff with conventional outdrives. I'll report back if they fit the 50T 48DP cougar 2000 diff.

Would anyone be able to advise me of the best approach to replacing the telescoping driveshafts of the Cougar 2000? Mine are actually in OK-ish condition albeit quite bindy.
