with that hardened idler gear you'll want to do yourself a favor and get the delrin top shaft gear if you're gonna run it. The 2 together will outlast that truck. Not so much metal on metal. Well as soon as I got the engine broke in and making some power the plastic idler gear stripped. So I decided to build up a brand new transmission with a new case, new Bearings, a steel idler gear and a hot racing sealed diff with steel ring gear. Hopefully this one will hold up.

A rustler body works pretty well but can't say it would work with that exhaust. The new exhaust idea is kinda restrictive to the 2.5 but won't be an issue if you built a shelfer.
