It's not 100% accurate, but I finished my Cobra Nemesis ad car replica. Still looking for the correct Cobra mod motor and blue label 1700 SCRC's.

Crossed another car off of my vintage oval bucket list: Raborn Invencer X-10

I added the optional Raborn aluminum spring retainers, Tecnacraft turnbuckles and some aluminum hardware. It's sitting on CW mounted foams and I have a CW Phantom Wedge to top it off.

I finally found my unicorn Ground Effects car thanks to Bob Stormer. I built it straight from the kit, then built it into a replica of the Cobra ad car. I'm still searching for the correct Cobra "Pro Series" motor with the green and red label. I only had this one small scan from the magazi...

Does that slipper eliminator still need a top shaft nut to hold it on, or is there a set screw? It has a set screw, possibly two if I remember right. You can just barely get a driver on it between the motor plate and tranny case if you're not running a felt gasket...you can sort of see it in the to...

Forgot to post the updated pics. I added a few shock spacers, HPI green-dot mounted foams, Barracuda slipper eliminator, BIG JIM Master Stock and some Maxcell P-170's to make this the perfect carpet oval buggy.

Very nice build. Looks great. Will you be adding electronics? Probably not. I tried a few ideas with both Novak and Tekin gear, but I think it looks so good without any electronics. I have slightly rebuilt it into a carpet oval buggy like I always wanted to build as a kid and added a BIG JIM Master...

After wanting one of these as a kid 30+ years ago after seeing the magazine ad, I was finally able to build an Ultra Molded buggy. Just added a few period mods but nothing too crazy.
