Re: NIB Rally Weapon score

Nice find. I can give you a little background on this car. While I was the Team Manager for Losi way back in the day, I was fooling around with some extra Street Weapons we had sitting around. For fun I decided to build a rally car. If I remember correctly, Brandon Upshaw who was our machinist made ...

Re: Brian Kinwald RC10TALK memory present, last update!

I have to ask Lunsford if they started to make such products in 1993. I'm not sure, may Cliff Lett remember it ? Kelly Lunsford definitely made Titanium screws. I was lucky enough to have him provide them to me way back then. It was about 94/95 that Brian figured out how to change the colors...righ...

Re: old JRX body and other Losi stuff

Probably the best looking factory painted body that I have ever seen. Jirka If I am not mistaken wasn't it Jack Johnson that did most of those? Actually I did some research...ok I walked over to Gary Kyes desk. Gary told me that He and his son did most of the painted "factory" packaged bo...

Re: Jamin's Losi XXT Box-Art Build - FINISHED!!

Ok sorry it took me so long but i got some pics. Also some better news, i took a closer look at the "U.S. National Champions" and the letters appear to be Autographic individual letters and not vinyl graphic letters. So you should be able to replicate that if you can find some Autographic ...

Re: 1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics

Not to sound nosy, seeing the gear cover, was there a hydra drive fitted and was it the same as all others? Thanks for all the great photos and info. Regards, Maurice Here you go...I also added it to my original post. Appears to be one of the handmade Hydradrives...I'd love to see the inside but I ...

Re: 1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics

Rich, That is a very cool car. Love seeing the vintage cars. Do you know if there are any of the prototype XX4 buggies raced at the 96' ROAR Nats in Pennsylvania still around? Any pics of those original prototype cars? I remember it was very hush at the race. :D Thanks! Chris Gil Jr or even Jon And...

1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics

This buggy belongs to Gary Kyes. It's sitting on his shelf and has been since the 91 Worlds so to say the least it has a bit of dust on it. Gary has been with the Company since the beginning of Team Losi. I didn't start working for Losi until 1994 so I don't know much about it, other than it appears...

Re: Rally and Street Weapon Manuals and Explode

Which really got me thinking, has anyone asked why Losi just doesn't host all the old manuals on their site? Many other companies still have old manuals available for download. It is not like they take up much space or bandwidth. First, that avatar is disgusting! LOL As for the manuals, it' not rea...

Re: Jamin's Losi XXT Build

Those were never on a sheet that I can recall. It had to be some sort of standard font. I checked my sticker files and could not find that. I probably typed it in, cut'em and deleted the file. Sorry no help here. Thats cool, thanks Rich, I knew you'd come good, even though its not what I wanted to ...

The Old sticker machine....

After checking out Jamin's XX-T build and his interest in the hollow white Losi stickers, I thought you guys might be interested in seeing the old sticker machine/plotter that we used to make the vinyl stickers for team drivers, Pop's Indy car and most of the stickers you see on the box top cars. We...

Re: Losi Truck Identification

HI Guys, We had just received the A7690 street tires and I mocked up this truck to show them off. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e216/sleepercivic/rock%20crawling/RT-XXT.jpg Rich Rich, did these tires ever make it into stock or production? I have never seen them before. are you the only lucky on...

Re: Losi Truck Identification

HI Guys, Man that is too funny that this truck was finally noticed. This was one of my first "projects" I put together when i had just started working for Team Losi. I actually built and painted this (i was learning how to use my airbrush at the time). I even made the stickers (sheesh I ma...
