Sweet Storm! I love the original Storm, the Storm 2000 I'm building just doesn't scream Schuie like an alloy chassis with a belt in the tranny.
Very nice ride!

Heck I'd build a Clod to run an all Clod class! I agree the Clods, King Cabs, Hilux, Pumpkins and Lunchboxes racing together is not fair for the Clods. Being one of the Hilux drivers I can tell you that having the Clods on the track was a total game changer for everyone else. That being said, the &q...

So who is running what classes? If I can run I'm not sure if I'll be running 4wd, 2wd, or heavy metal.

Re: Lazer ZX Body Question
Trim the chassis? Isn't the Lazer chassis more narrow than the LWB mid? Where would I have to trim?

Re: possible way to mount modern 2.2" hex wheels to your YOKE.
Just to be sure nobody gets out and gets parts that won't do the trick: as glowster said: 870C The proposed material will not work with the works series suspension You are absolutely correct, this will NOT work for a Works series. It's money for the 870 and 870c though. I'll take some pix as soon a...

Re: Optima Mid Ball Diffs...HELP!!!
3mm diff ball you need. 3mm diff ball is also used for Ultima and Lazer (From ZX to ZX-S). Kyosho's early ball diff system exists 2 kinds for Optima mid and Ultima series, one is no separated diff ring and the other is WBD-3 diff ring is inserted into it. Thanks a ton!!!! Now I just need a rear bal...

Re: possible way to mount modern 2.2" hex wheels to your YOKE.
I used Kyosho Wheels all around on my 870c. You need the Kyosho Universals from the Front of a ZX5 Sp and the Rear of the Original RB5. They fit direct, same bearing sizes as the Yokomo, and work great. I recommend you use the original ZX5 front wheels as they make the front of the car sit a little ...

Re: Optima Mid Ball Diffs...HELP!!!
That definitely helps! Can't see clearly enough though if there are any sizes on there for the diff and thrust balls. Can anyone make it out?
Thanks for the help!!!!

Optima Mid Ball Diffs...HELP!!!
Just picked up a 2nd Turbo Mid and in tearing it down I found it has the Option House Ball Diffs in it. Does anyone have an instruction sheet for these diffs? At the very least, anyone know what size diff balls they used?
