Re: First race ever
Have fun, don't be afraid to ask for help, and have fun. something I relearn a couple times a month is that 20 minutes effort in your garage = 40+ minutes at the track. The more prepared you are the easier it will be when you get there. IE, batteries charged, electronics installed and working proper...

Looking forward to seeing this one done. With the Strike being delayed you'll easily be the first at your track with a Losi SC truck.

Re: My XX4 - Heavy Metal Truck
Rained out on Friday night  so I didn't get a good run on it. Did some ripping around the street on Saturday AM as my son wanted to take it for a spin. He was nice enough to let me run his 18t :? Too much motor for the cheapo speed control iin it and it's over geared a tooth or 2. Wet pa...

Re: My XX4 - Heavy Metal Truck
Thanks guys. I saw JK Racings bodies and if this were going on the shelf, I'd be considering one of those. The Truck body is actually pretty serviceable for my purposes, the buggy body looks like poo. They are readily available but I am trying a budget custom "wrap" and see if I like it an...

My XX4 - Heavy Metal Truck
Having seen JKs truck here and on other forums I've always had it in the back of my mind to get one. It was only recently that I added an xx4 search on ebay to my routine to hopefully track one down. A couple of weeks ago I stumbled across this one, kept my eye on it and with no bidding on it I figu...

Cool truck. I've been on again/off again thinking about getting one of these kits for my T4.
BTW, great paint too. Simple and distinctive.

Re: Never seen this before?! 3 Losi rebuilds at once!
Oh, should I tint the windows or leave them clear? Should I back the white inside with a black to darken the colors? They match almost exactly but they are bright. Clayface need input................. Love the paint. How long has the paint been on? It seems to me that I look at a body that I just p...

I would do a florescent blue and white scheme and split the colors with a florescent yellow pin stripe.

No black. They can be dyed though.dvalleli wrote:Thanks guys. I think for now, I will just fab some custom axles. When I get a few bucks, i'll look into the Klein arms (do they come in black?) and some B44 CVDs.

Cool shots. Definitely a force to be reckoned with, not another car anywhere close to you on the track

Re: Latest Ebay grab MX 4
Really nice collection! The paint on the B-max is killer. Is there any way we can get a B-max in the states? even if it were possible, spares would be an issue. Definitely possible I race with a guy locally who runs a B-Max. Neat car for sure. He keeps the usual spares on hand (arms, hubs, towers) a...
