Post by lowrydesign »

my first real car was this xxtcr graphite edition.
i always wanted all the hop ups as a kid but could never afford to buy them.. i was always breaking parts or buying tires and motors to stay competitive.

so after almost a year of searching for the parts and finding nip parts to replace the beat up parts its time to rebuild this beast with the parts it deserves.

Very nice! I was the same when I was a kid (most of probably were), I always wanted all the hop ups for my JRX2, and XX. So I am doing the same, slowly amassing discontinued hop up parts. Can't seem to keep my shelf queens on the shelf though.... Just to much fun driving them. I have one question, I can't figure out what those two red blocks are on the back of the transmission, It looks like they are connected to the ESC? Can't wait to see it all painted up!

NICE.
I did a graphite conversion on the XXT I got from Rick (thanks Brother!).
One more Trinity hop up that would be cool-Wide track front end kit.
I have one on my XX CR Kinwald and my XXT CR.

I have some Trinity rear alloy uprights,I might be persuaded to trade them for a rear pivot block or two? 8)
Man,they were tough to find!

I had the early graphite stamps on my XXTcr resto but the guy I bought it off though he could clean the car by spraying it with WD40 so when it came to cleaning the car all the stamps wiped clean off. Its not a problem but I like the little details.

Your ride is looking good, never seen the alloy front bulkhead though!
