Re: Tips for cleaning steel screws... seriously

Thanks for all the tips guys. I never even thought of Brake cleaner... and I work in a shop  I'm going to take the hardware from my slash with me to work today and give them a good blast with some brake cleaner. Paul, Does the baking method cover up rust?

Thanks again,

Just wondering whats the best solution to clean dirty grimy screws. I'm not trying to remove rust or anything like that but I got a lot of screws that are way too filthy (mostly grease and wd40) to put in anything white. What would be the best method to clean them without causing rust. Thanks in adv...

I was thinking Losi because there were some losi parts in the lot I got. IE, wheels, manuals etc.. there was however a motor plate for a b2/b3 in there as well :?:

Re: What products work that should be dead??

I got a Sony 56" projection TV in my living room from 91". No repairs ever made, still fires up like a champ every morning and stays on all day, probably 10-14 hours use everyday non stop. I just don't understand how this thing is still alive :?

Re: General Lee build

I tried ordering one from them about 8 months ago. I received a confirmation email from them and then never received anything. I sent 3 emails with no response. They never charged my credit card though. I'm not sure if they're really still in business. That body would have been a lot easier to use....

What body is that? It's either the Associated Camaro body or an older HPI Camaro body, I don't know how to tell the difference  I was thinking about getting this body: e632_3.jpg I think that looks pretty aerodynamic, I just need to confirm the dimensions to make sure it will fit the DS prope...

Thats where the GPS was mounted  I'm sure I need to lower the suspension a bit and get a body that will sit at or below the bumper line. I kinda knew this before the test run... but like I said, I got impatient

Re: Insane DS Build, Recipe for disaster.

Ok, no pics yet  I did get a new set of foams thanks to Reggie. I knew I needed a more functional body but I got impatient  When I sifted through the remains the attached GPS said 49.6MPH... at only half throttle  Well...It's back to the drawing boa...
