Re: Strange steering/throttle issue with Slash

You said steering was controlling throttle, right? It sounds like you have your channels swapped in your receiver. Sorry, I should of been more clear. What I ment was when I turned full left the wheels would turn left and it would go into reverse. but I got it figured out... I think :? I don't know...

Strange steering/throttle issue with Slash

I have a Traxxas slash that I haven't run in quite some time. I recently got a replacement VXL System for it and hooked it up today. Everything works great except for one annoying thing. when I turn full left it goes in reverse and when I turn full right it goes forward. I checked all the connection...

Re: RC10 DS Craigslist find, Need Help

Very nice looking DS  Does anybody know where I can get a new AE Mustang body? I have two bodies, but both are rough. Any help is much appreciated! unfortunately you gotta watch the bay on that one... not always cheap. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a while now but they always go ...

Re: How do I install this RPM Steering set-up?

I've had several sets of these and am not impressed. RPM made a better set up later on that accomodates bearings. I think the best you can do on these is to make sure they are oiled/greased. Well I got them on the DS I just finished and I Kinda agree... I don't see any benefit over the stock DS/GT ...

Re: How do I install this RPM Steering set-up?

Thanks for the info on the bearings. I looked at my steering a while back and I think I got 4 sleeves all the same size. I just don't see how the bearings would fit with the sleeves I have... :?

Re: How do I install this RPM Steering set-up?

What length standard flat top screw are you talking about? The standard steering ones worked ok for me. The standard gold screws that are used throughout the car. Are those the stock steering screws you have? I didn't even think to check to see if the stock steering screws were longer  all th...

How do I install this RPM Steering set-up?

ok, I borrowed the pic from 59burst but these are the same bell-cranks I'm trying to install on my DS. DSCF7345.JPG I tried using the standard flat top screws, but they are too short. So I used two short Truck nose plate screws but there is a lot of "slop". What is the proper way to mount ...
