Yup. I was using it on a pan based chassis, but decided it would look better on the RC10. I just had to trim the wheel wells a little bigger for clearance.markbt73 wrote:That is way cool looking. Is that an HPI body?

1968 Chevy Camaro Street Stock
I figured I'd post up some pics since I did the Custom Works wheel & 3/16 axle conversion over the weekend. The transmission is from an old T3 that was gathering dust and the rear bumper is a spare Bolink Legend part I had laying around. I had to put on the bumper because the rear of the chassis...

Classic BoLink Bodies Are Back!
Rick Jordan of RJ Speed was kind enough to email me back after I had a question about classic bodies. He informed me that he's recently acquired a number of BoLink's original molds and that many of the classic bodies are now for sale at http://www.rccarkings.net/bodies.htm scroll down to the RJ Spee...

Re: Is Bolink.com No more???
I was wondering about Bolink too. I emailed Tim a couple of days ago at the sales@bolink email address asking if he had some bodies in stock, but I haven't heard back from him yet. I'm not going to use his work contact info because I don't want to bother him there. It seems like he's the only one of...

Re: Have you ever? Lazy man's steering servo screw driver hole
IMO it depends on the condition of the tub. I have one tub that's pretty beat up and I run frequently, so I had no problem deciding to drill a hole in it for the servo. The other tub I own has minimal scratches and spends most of it's time on the shelf, so it won't get a hole. My third tub has got a...

Re: My prized RC10 gold tub NIB
The guys at Associated designed these kits with the intention that they would be built and run. For their sake, at least put it together. If was an engineer and spent countless hours designing the RC10 only to have people let it sit in pieces in the box, I would be very disappointed. Just my 2 cents.

I am working on an RC10 Scorcher myself right now... It will be painted in Tamiya boxart colors with repro decals. I'll post pics when it's complete.... hopefully in the next week or two.

He is running the 6 gear... not sure what he is breaking. I think there is some "user error" involved when he puts the tranny back together.

A Traxxas Transmission... Sacrilege!!!!
Today one of my friends was talking about replacing his RC10's chewed up transmission with a metal geared Traxxas Magnum 272.  He likes to run his RC10.... a lot, and would like the convenience of going to the lhs to get parts instead of scouring ebay. I myself got to wondering if it c...

Re: RC10 Street Stock Basher...
Very cool! The "low detail" body/ paint scheme actually gives it a 1 to 1 scale look. LOL Ever seen a real bomber? They pretty much look like they're painted with Glidden exterior paint with a 4inch brush. LOL Maybe a different wheel/ tire combo but, I really like it! Good catch on the pa...

RC10 Street Stock Basher...
Just some quick pics of my RC10 street stock conversion that I just finished. This will be strictly a parking lot basher. I got the chassis off ebay and bought new RPM suspension parts and a bomber conversion kit from Speedy’s Racing Parts. The transmission is out of a T3 that only had one battery p...
