My new acquisition
Just got a bunch of RC10T's and 18T's and a lot of other stuff. Only cost me 50% of what I can sell some for. This isn't even everything, just what I had room in my car for. Time to do an inventory and cleanup. http://sdrv.ms/11LwkLc https://axdenw.bay.livefilestore.com/y2pY168mGu73jK1oR7WMXOEJ4C1m4...

Re: Best way to remove UJ roll pins?
I use a small finishing nail or something. Smaller than the hole in the axle, but bigger than the inside diameter of the pin. Lightly tap with a hammer and it'll come right out.

Re: Stealth transmission hole template
I could use one as well. Though I hate to drill an 'A' Chassis. If only we had a plate that would mount stealth, then mount the whole plate to the original chassis.RC104ever wrote:Bringing this topic back from the dead - can I get a copy of this template?

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
I'm still thinking it would be nice to have an old looking 6 gear case running modern stealth gears inside...but that's just me and wishful thinking. lol. If it all works out, I might hire Walt to make some replacement parts for my KRP cars. That would be great, then we could use our "A" ...

Re: 1992 RC10 CE Tires/wheels? Motor?
christhepcguy Sorry to hear those tires don't fit. Can you post photos? I'm surprised those 2.0 Losi tires don't fit. Are they too big? I'm thinking about getting these (link below) from tower but I believe they are the same size you have. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGD99...

Re: 1992 RC10 CE Tires/wheels? Motor?
I received the Losi tires, they don't quite fit. I'm going to mess with them to see if I can make them work, but doesn't look promising.

1.6 inch buggy tires
One of my LHS's had about a dozen or so 1.6in rear buggy tires. I believe they are Duratrax and some other brand , some are regular spiked, some a squareish hollow spike, and some small squarish solid spikes. How much do these normally go for? Don't the original RC10 rears take 1.6 inch?

Re: 1992 RC10 CE Tires/wheels? Motor?
Yes christhepcguy. Please, that would be great, let me know if they fit.....What tires are you running for the fronts? What motor you running? Fronts are stock that came with the car. I have a Speedworks Speedjem motor and some Reedy motor. Came with the car when I got it from craigslist. They are ...

Problem is I don't have the old one. The manual just calls it "large curved "E" clip".fastang wrote:You should be able to find that e-clip at any good hardware store. Just bring in the old one if possible and match it uo.

Can't find a part
After waiting just over a week for new idler gears and CV shafts, I found that I'm missing the bent e-clip that holds on the idler gear pivot to the metal plate in the 6 gear tranny. Anyone know where I can get one? Or atleast something that will work. Also, will these fit the stock CE rear wheels? ...

Re: battery question
I can find the tube to go over the 3 cells in a line. If you look close in this pic you can see it is wrapped twice and the top layer is lengthwise and looks to hold the two- 3 cell sticks together. That's the stuff I can't find. It must start out 8 inches wide! I bought some from Racers Edge but i...
