Re: "Red" dogbones don't fit into stub axles
Yep, I was watching those too but the red ends scared me off. They were listed as RC10 bones but the RC10 bones I've seen have white ends. You should send the back as they were mis-represented as RC10 parts.

Nice, that's what I started racing with (after I realized a BigWig sucks). Those drove very nice. One of my favs. Lucky you.

Re: MIP Tranny Question
I think they came out in 1988 or 1989. I bought mine at R&R hobbies in Quincy, IL during a race at that time. It was probally 1989.

Re: Suspension issues
if your front is too tall you may want to change to a softer spring.
If you are currently using the gold spings, try the silvers, they're softer.

Re: A question about bundle selling YZ-10 stuff.
here's my take on it. I would split it up into a few bundles. say you have enough parts to build a few cars, bundle the parts in such a way as to be an 'almost' complete car. I know I would be more willing to buy an 'almost' car for a smaller price than a big old pile of parts, strictly as an end u...

Re: What body to Andys rc10 buggy?
ASC 6160 is the part number for the regular RC10 Protech body. There are several others that fit. Any RC10 body should fit. good luck Doh, sorry, I'll keep my bad advice off the boards. I had seen the andys chassis before but didn't realize it was that different of a shape. perhaps the andys renega...

Re: So many questions
You have the nice "team" shocks. Your parts are blue becasue the previous owner died them that color. They were probally white when new. You have the "skinny" front truck tires. They are harder to find but are good for racing. Your stealth tranny should be fine. It's a good desig...

I use the AE ball cups on the inside too, for the same reason. RPM or Jconcepts will not clear. Maybe someone else can post a work around. I don;t mind using the AE cups, however.

1987 Don's Hobby World Glenwood IL (indoor dirt track) I raced with a Big Wig for a short period before buying a used Yokomo 834b, then on to RC10 and 2WD. I also raced in Orland Park and also at SHOR (south holland off road) from 1987-1990. One of my last races was at R&R Hobbies in Quincy, IL....

Re: 834B Yokomo Gil LOSI Jr WC 85' Replica.
that's beautiful! I used to race one just like it a long time ago when I was about 14. It drove like it was on rails when an older (age 29) dude at the track sold it to me. I managed to adjust it a little each time I raced and eventually it handled like crap. very nice to see one in perfect form aga...

Re: Question about brushed motor diodes
The caps were for the glitching and the diodes for motor/esc performance and braking IIRC. I use both the small caps and the diodes.
I still use both on the 2.4 system (2.4 is awesome)
You can try with the caps and see, it may be fine. The Diode will help you brake.
