Re: Good things come to those who wait.
A Rooster with a Greenie 2 out back and foams, would make a nice carpet oval runner... That's all it did in it's life. It was a carpet racer. But I don't think it's racing career was very long. It's funny, the first thing I did was pull the foams off and put the dirt tires back on. I don't even kno...

Re: Good things come to those who wait.
I don't think it's worth keeping with that rear a-arm mount missing. You should pass it on to me! LOL, no it was giving to me by a friend. So it's a keeper!!! Thanks guys, I was like a kid in a candy store waiting for him to drop them off!!! I'm going to dig around in the boxes tonight an...

Good things come to those who wait.
I got the remnants of an old RC10T Team truck a couple of months ago. I started collecting parts for it and lost interest. Long story short I was supposed to get some old RC cars parts from a buddy of mine. He forgot what friend he was supposed to give them to and gave them to another buddy. I just ...

Re: WELDING RC10T ALUMINUM TUBS
if you can weld aluminum, then you should have no problems. 5356 alloy is what you need to maintain color matching after anodizing. If you don't care about anodizing, you can use 4043 filler. That's good info there. Everything that we weld and anodize looks awful. It might as well have a big waving...

Re: ? about model #7035 team truck
And the CF trans brace found in the worlds car... 8) Are you sure? The picture on the box shows a white brace. Did they change the box art for the Team Truck, or just the part number on the side? Is it the red, white and blue truck jumping out of the stadium peristyles? Bully posted this in the thr...

Re: RC10T Dogbones
Thanks for the information Steve. I still need to check mine. But I'm pretty sure they are 1/4 though. Pretty cool though, one of the only times making something smaller, made the assy. stronger. If I would upgrade to CVDs I'd probably just make some spacers for 3/16 axles. That way I could run both...

Re: RC10T Runner by slotcarrod
Probably, but I will have to ask. We get big manifolds anodized and they "tape" off the ground area so it's bare. Sounds like they can just tape it off! You know, if a little gets in, it's not that big a deal! I talked to our planner today. He's going to give the anodizer a call today. I ...

Re: RC10T Team Truck picture
What did they change just enough stuff to make it hard to find the correct parts!!!
Does any one have a picture comparison between the two?

Re: RC10T Runner by slotcarrod
To anodize them orange or black would be sweet, but it's beyond my budget and I want to keep the teflon coating! They will stay original Team green with black springs. :| We get things anodized on a weekly basis at work. if you want I can ask our planner if they use orange and how much it would cos...
