Oople did a full review on the Durga a while back when it was released. His reviews are always pretty awesome.

1/18s have a 2mm shaft as well, not sure about the pitch though.

Hi, not an expert on these but you may be able to attach the wing using a modified AE18B wing mount. Either that or make up some small brackets instead. Before everything was plastic many competition racers used alloy wing mounts and wing buttons, very simple but effective. Look at Masami's cars in ...

I had one of these when they were new. They came with 2 spur gears. A 70 and 77t one. The 70 with a 23t pinion (metric 0.6 pinion, not 48p) was good fun with a standard 540 motor but anything hotter its best to use the 77t one. Wheelbase of the Hotshot is 262mm and the DF03 is 272mm. The regular widths are a bit different though. 235mm for the Hotshot and 250mm for the DF-03 (figures from tamiya and tamiyaclub).
