Re: B6/7 body on a B3?
OMG, I was just about to scold you thinking about that, but you saved it by going the Leadfinger route. A Cab-forward body would have been blasphemous. Now to answer your question, I believe it comes down to the width of chassis and body. If that fits, the rest can be made to fit. No definite...

Re: Traxxas TRX-3
Do I hear Composite Craft? It seems like a step back to me because: - All that extra plastic added for the TRX-3 battery box and then a top deck on the plastic is just more weight with no benefit. - My TRX-3 chassis is natural color fiberglass chassis with separate plastic piece for front kic...

Re: Tell me again about how we cant afford to produce RC parts in the USA anymore...
When it comes to American bearings though, just because they're made here doesn't mean they're automatically the best. There are other countries that make just as good or even better ones. Countries like France, Germany, or Switzerland for example. China is supposed to have state-of-the-art manufac...

Are those Parma bodies meant for the truck or is that just Photoshop with the wrong wheels?

Re: Let’s Build the RC10Talk Community’s Own 1/10 Buggy Kit!
Hey TokyoProf, Would you mind cropping the grey out of your pictures? So, Here we start seeing the first differences in taste. Orange arms wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me, but definitely not my choice. I also would like to keep adjustable camber links. I agree on some level of donor parts. D...

Re: Fan RC is up to something Big
Oh yeah, add a 3rd screw, AND use longer screws with nuts on top. Further add double sided tape between the arm mounts and the chassis. Together with tight screws the friction will be highly increased abs should spread the load more evenly.

Re: Let’s Build the RC10Talk Community’s Own 1/10 Buggy Kit!
That’s a pretty cool idea. If enough people are in we’d first have to vote on the basics: What kind of car? On road/ Off Road ? Buggy / Truck / Sprint / Oval….? 4WD / 2WD ? Mid or rear motor Modem Vintage or all-in modern racer? All new parts, or things like a-arms from something available like rpm?...

WOW, just WOW
Now may I suggest the Losi Jrx2 Pro SE body for this build? I believe the ultramolded was actually intended for that body.

STOP using photobucket / Flickr / Image shack WHATEVER here!
Instead of replying to the thread “It sucks that pics are disappearing here”, I thought a direct title might be a bit more effective. I totally agree with hugger19 that it is really annoying that a lot of pictures with valuable information get lost over time. Since modern phones take fairly high res...

Re: Here we go again.....
I had a complete RPM gearbox so I cut the ears off just like I do for the Hot Racing cases. 20241212_224234.jpg The RPM case is said to eat idler gears but when I tried to research it further I'm not so sure it's as big of a deal as claimed. I'll give it a try and make my own opinion. I went with t...

Re: ** 2025 Tamiya Vintage World Classic - Thunder Alley R/C, Lucama NC - January 10-12 **
That looks like a fun and HUGE event. Too bad no mid motor conversions are allowed. I understand why, but some kits fit right into that class and time frame. such as the Tekin RC10 conversion. Were there any others worth mentioning from back then? I think there was one for a Schumacher, and differen...

Huh. I thought it was in with the new threads when I came across it. Must have been in the Similar Topics suggestion by the VONATS thread I was reading. Oops. Either you re-awakend this thread, or I did with my misplaced post in this that I now moved to recent thread about the heritage class....
