rc10gt steering adjustment
Hey all - Been enjoying my (new to me) rc10gt a bunch. I have a question about how to adjust the steering though. My remote control's adjustment (the fine tuning 'wheel', pot switch, whatever ya'll call it) is cranked all the way to get teh wheels to align left, literally. Car still slightly leans r...

Re: RC10GT carb and running...
Update: Must be right - went out and played with it to get that screw to get in that slot - works like a charm.. Man though.. the 7719 doesn't hold much run time, that or I'm burning through the fuel too fast.. I didn't time it, was to estatic with this being the first real run for me with it (read,...

RC10GT carb and running...
First off, for the complete history of my RC10GT experience (it isn't much) but here's the previous thread I had going: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=20500 which was mainly about the fuel tank. Got it, got a new air filter kit, so that thread is pretty much done. Didn't post there...

Re: RC10GT fuel tank dilemma
That's some good advice and something I didn't think about.. Tnx for the heads up, have to check that out tomorrow since it can be easily done now while I await parts. On that thought, currently the previous owner had 4 AA's in a radio-shack lookin' battery holder zip-stripped to the back of the tru...

Re: RC10GT fuel tank dilemma
Good deal then.. Just ordered one, and picked up an air filter set as well.. Didn't seem to be any oval ones, figured since a tank would already be coming from them, might as well get the other thing I'll need anyway :) Can't wait for it to get here, lol. Would appreciate any tips/etc for a new rc g...

Re: RC10GT fuel tank dilemma
So the 7719 does have the connector on the back like the one in my photo? I don't doubt ya'll, don't get me wrong, but it seems the photos on the online stores show no connector there at all, nor any mention of a filter inside. They look empty and have two connectors on the top only. Just want to ve...

RC10GT fuel tank dilemma
Recently I picked up a used RC10GT. It's a red bodied truck with a blue frame. The previous owner insisted it worked, but hadn't been touched in well over a year, and might need some work getting it running again. On a whim, I picked it up making it my first 'Non-retail shop' (read non New Bright an...
