Tenkin BC210 charger operation
I was able to find a manual for this charger, but it says nothing about charge times. Is this a 20 min charger? Will it charge the NiMH batteries too?

Bodies that fit
Where can I find a good cross reference to tell me what bodies will fit on my cars? I see multiple manufactures out there but I have no clue what will fit and what will not. The only body mounts on my car are the poles on the front and the back.

Re: Old Novak ESc or newer style Traxxus ESC
Todd- if I knew what I had, I would certainly be much better off. The best I can find is a marking on the motor that says ROAR 91.
I'm running an 1800 NiCad battery.

Re: Old Novak ESc or newer style Traxxus ESC
Well it's the story of my life. I put the XL5 in the car and it was stuttering/ cogging really bad. It would fairly well with the 50% power programming but still stuttered. I added a capacitor to the RX radio and it did the same. Swapped in the Novak and it runs great. The only problem is the the No...

Swapping servo saver/bell crank from graphite chassis
I'm trying to get the best parts off of a graphite chassis for my build up of a black tub RC10. The graphite chassis had what appears to be ball bearing assisted steering servo saver/ bell crank so I swapped that in place of the plastic one (which had tie wraps around it for some reason). It appears...

Old Novak ESc or newer style Traxxus ESC
In my build process, I now have 2 different ESCs. One is a novak 410-m5 and the other is a Traxxus xl-5 which is the yellow one. I know that the Novak has been around for a while, and that the Traxxus has several programmable modes. Is there a preference between the two or are they basically the sam...

Re: Swapping old tires
What do the jellybean wheels look like? okay - I have two different sets of rear wheels. One set has three screws, and the other set is solid. So the one with the screws can just be separated right? Why/ how would you need to glue the wheels on. The last time I mess with this type of stuff was aroun...

Swapping old tires
The title says it all - are these things glued on or what? I can't seem to get the tires off of a set of wheels for a swap. Any tricks?

Re: How to identify a motor
I just looked at them. They all have the tabs holding the end together. So much for thinking I might have struck motor gold. Any idea what these things are worth?

How to identify a motor
As some of you know, I was given a bag full of goodies and I am in the process of rebuilding an RC10 from the bag for my son. Inside the bag there were 8 motors. With the exception of one that was marked "green machine 2", all of the other ones are without logos or markings, save for a ROA...

Re: New (old) guy with a big bag of stuff - what is this car
Thanks. I'm a read more, post less type of guy so it's going to take me a while to get to the 25 posts. If you would not mind leaving this "request" list up, I would be grateful. I'm trying to get this car together for my son, and have gotten a little wrapped up in how fun it was to build ...

Re: == Who the Heck Are You? ==
Looks like I'm getting back into R/C after about a 20 year hiatus. Got my first real car in 1990, and just dug it out of the attic two weeks ago to build it back up for my oldest son who is turning 7. Found out it was cheaper to buy a RTR car from Tower hobbies, so I bought it. A week later, came ac...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot over? I doubt that your comment was meant for me, so there must be some bad blood somewhere else.dragnse7en wrote:There's always an ass who thinks he's the top dog to say it all here, but not him. That's for sure. Proved him wrong on tires.

Re: New (old) guy with a big bag of stuff - what is this car
So yesterday I took the front lower shock mounts off of this car and used them to replace the missing ones that were already on the other buggy that came with this mystery bag. I also robbed a few other parts off of it like the rear sprocket attachment that attaches to the transmission. My next goal...
