Re: Getting an old abused car running again.
The re re RC10s are good runners, especially since the battery trays are a bit wider to accommodate lipo batteries. You should be able to find one for about $190 or less shipped new.

Re: Optima Mid Ball Diffs...HELP!!!
Hi everyone, I'd like to necro this thread for help. I have an Optima Mid that I'm restoring as a runner. I believe it has the early model rear ball diff that has the diff halves but no diff washers. There are light grooves worn into the halves. Will it run ok, if I just put new diff balls in? Or is...

Re: Favourite Yokomo and why?
The 93 - because the shapes were simply so elegant; look at the front shock tower.
The MR4-BX - beautiful carbon fiber and blue aluminum everywhere. This is the last of the great Yokes before they went to composites and plastics for everything. The whole steering assembly is even CF and aluminum.

Nice builds. I really like that body shell as well. I like the display with the clear body, actually.

Re: Yokomo MX-4........ Restore or part out?
It will likely take you a while to fully assemble it, but you may want to try to find manuals to check compatibility with other Yoke cars. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will have some idea whether for instance some of the mr 4 bx or yokomo onroad cars share parts. I'd keep it and slow...

And search autographics for Zodiak bear stickers or other cool themes that are period correct or have that period look.

Re: My project . . . (look inside the box!)
Hey folks. Got kind of busy. I found a 870 C with a spine and took the spine and added it to my chassis, which is in substantially better condition then the donor chassis. I need a couple camber links and a couple small screws and the base chassis is complete. The body is something I or my brother o...

Re: My project . . . (look inside the box!)
So I bought a chassis that's scratched up but has the original spine on it. Can I remove the original spine, assuming it's glued with old CA, using acetone or something else?

Re: 93 WCS poss ran at 93 Worlds UK? KO Decals added, page 1
Excellent . . . except that's a '94 Reedy Green Sticker, which would not have existed in 93 - yes? You can tell by the kerning between the letters. They started using foreign presses right around that time. Just kidding of course. :D This is an extremely cool ride. All of the stickers add so much de...

A pic of the original body that I painted for my younger brother way back when. Car is pretty clean now with the exception of the glue on the chassis from the old spine.
