Re: Completely inexperienced person attempts to restore anti
Hey Matt. Im trying to put myself in your shoes here. I have personally been in this hobby since the early 90's and have a couple "vintage" cars such as the one you have here and find it difficult to find parts for these cars to restore them. you have an origional rc10 gold pan car. like t...

Re: Completely inexperienced person attempts to restore anti
Welcome to the hobby! Nice gold tub rc10 you have there. I am no expert like some of the guys on here but it looks to me like you have an early Cadilac car here. some distinguishing factors such as chassis color, front tires, steering arms, and shock gaskets are some factors of determination. maybe ...

Re: TLR's new 22T truck
I'm looking for one of these, if someone wants to get rid of theirs. I'd be willing to trade my xxt or my xx for one + some cash. Folks on RCtech think that they're worth as much used as new. they are still pretty new so you may not be seeing such great deals now but when people stare gettin...

too!
Nice! Haha, but in this case its true. I wish there was still a made in the USA seal on the associated boxes. My 15ish year old b3 has less slop than the 4.1.
That bums me out that we don't have our own making the parts anymore. I was talking with a friend about that the other d...

I built mine this week, went together really nice. Cant wait to run this bad boy! good luck mate. im sure you will love it. dont know what you have set up for tires but the blue bar codes work great all the way around. we have experimented with all different tire combos on that truck and those seem...

very nice and clean. love the dremmeled edges. gives it a nice clean look. I like your decision to change the ball cups with a more nutral white. 1 question still remains. Does it glow in the dark??

That's gotta be Steve's bench. Cobra sticker on the tool box. Everything is neat and tidy. Custom ae stand (made on off hours) and a pair of underwear on the corner. Good work Steve!

Re: t4.1 brushless Gearing????
When ever you lower the gear ratio ( bigger pinion lower spur) you are pulling more amperage from speed control and battery and the motor is dissipating that energy in heat. If you have stock electronics be careful. I would stay under 23 tooth pinion. Motor shouldn't get hotter than 160.

Re: TLR's new 22T truck
I've been running mine now for about a month. Truck handles great but rear traction seems to be an issue. #55 pistons in the back shocks 25 wt oil camber links all the way out on wheel side and white springs helped quite a bit. 28mm ride height all the way around. I would advise to do kit setup firs...
