Re: RC10 GT ftont and rear on gold pan?
There's a guy here selling an RC10GT front and rear (but nothing else). The front end looks complete, mounted on front plate and including steering, suspension, shocks, shock towers and wheels, etc. The rear includes suspension, shocks, stealth transmission, wheels, etc, but shock tower seems stran...

Re: Motor voltage not reaching 7.2V. Vintage setup. Car slow.
It sounds to me like the RC10 is putting an additional electrical load on the system, causing the voltage drop. This could be because of the motor itself (fewer turns, binding, brush/winding issue - try a different motor to test) or it could be mechanical (driveline load - remove the motor pinion to...

Re: Insane Solenoid Engine Idea
True true, we'll see once I build it. Some of the better made ones can hit 3200 RPM or more, like this one, a V12!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXIl0RlTom4 Someone has made MEGA versions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7CudQaT5lI Here's a small, very simple, and rather slow solenoid engine ca...

Re: KO PROPO CX-III
Ok, So I'm going to assume; Red is Battery + Black is Battery - Blue is Motor - I need to jump from the red to the motor + ???? Any pics to confirm? Thats the typical 3-wire setup. Not that it matters significantly, but I used to run a red wire from battery to motor, and tap the esc wire into the n...

Re: Insane Solenoid Engine Idea
I think the ideal application of this concept would be in a scale crawler. I think where it would lack is getting to a high enough rpm to produce power efficiently enough for a race car, but that really isn't a concern on a crawler. Plus, the capability of gear shifting and the advantage of a more s...

Are the springs actually copper or copper plated? I was under the impression it was just a copper colored finish.

Wow, that looks really nice! Bigger tire spikes would look more at home, but those aren't too bad.

Re: Top 3 Kyosho Le Mans motors
Quoting myself, but this arrived today in lovely used condition https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48721410187_f0daf96ba0_z.jpg Can anybody tell me if this was standard in any Kyosho Kit, as this seems to have period correct leads on it, but they are about 3 times longer than normal? Wondering if ...

Re: New guy here could use help
These are hard to find. I'd gladly pay $35 for a pair. If you're open to other options, I believe an RS4 cvd dogbone, associated CVD axle, and AE B4 hub with a drilled out hinge pin will work, but be like 10mm wider. I'm going from memory on the parts, so there is a possibility I didn't recite the p...
