Re: When did Kyosho switch from 0.8mod pinion/spur to 48p?

Quote: terry TC on Tamiya Club Ultima: All the gears in an Ultima were the same 0.8 module in every model, the only difference being the later Pro had a first gear with a 0.6 module spur gear so 0.6 module pinions could be used. This spur gear was part number W-0110. All Kyosho gears were metric. Th...

Re: Help identifying car/broken part

If You buy a new part, I´d recommend drilling (3mm) the suspension pin holes, all the way thru, both on the front piece and the rear piece. And then find/make some longer protruding suspension pins with Circlips. Just like stock on the Optima MID. 96,5 percent of us drives like a bag of beans - trus...

Re: Ultima 2019

No need for that - the Ultima isn´t heavier than it´s competitors. You might even need to add weight to keep it legal. Follow the shortest route on the track and don´t hit anything - You´ll finish 1st or 2nd :D Proper tuning is tires, battery placement, steering, shock absorption, camber-caster-toe ...

I´ve got the silver ones with red balls in my parts box #metoo
And I´ve checked them against Tamiya outdrives, which they seem to big for.

Re: PB Mini Mustang driveshafts

I bought a nice set of dogbones for the Marui Shogun I'm restoring, and the length is almost exactly the same as yours. They're listed on AliExpress as 70mm dogbones, but the way they measured them is funky. From end-to-end, they're 70mm; from the outside edges of each crosspin, they're about 67mm....

Re: Tamiya lot find

So You´re asking how to get the most money out of Your investment? All kits are available at the shops today, so unless You got them for free or under 1/3 of cheapest price found on the net, I don´t see them as a money making option. So either wait 20-40 years while hoping for Tamiya to stop releasi...

Re: The fastest of em all - The finned motor plate MID build

Dennis...another excellent build, but why little droop on the rear when stationary? Is it because your have used a lazer rear shock tower with mid arms? Thanks for the kind words Naushad. The rear stance is lowest possible - There´s 5 extra holes in the rear upper shock mount, which all will give a...

Dull photobucket pictures.

Is there any fix for this?
It´s shame that almost 1/2 of the pictures in the older threads are gone.
