Re: Anyone Else Collecting Radio Shack Rigs?
I'm a little late to this thread, but oh well! I love the RS cars. All of the vintage cars are awesome IMO. As far as Radio Shack cars go, I currently have the Golden Arrow, Red Arrow, Black Wolf, Radcon Wild Fox, Saggita, Tsauro X, Tsauro Z... all NIB. When i think of 80's and early 90's RC, i thin...

I think that's kinda weird. I would have figured they'd do something, especially for a limited edition release...SFC K wrote:Yep, No markings at all.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
I received mine from Tower Hobbies on Thursday, but haven't opened it yet. Am I correct thinking that the re-release does not have any type of "stamp" on the chassis?

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
I'm just amazed at the naivite of some people in this thread. All of the folks swearing that it just made no sense to make this such a limited edition, so therefore if that's what they spew on an internet message board, then it must make it so, what reality are you living in? But now SHOCK and DISB...

Re: problem with battery fitting
It's an NIMh battery. I haven't tried a nicad.... Perhaps I can remove the cover caps and replace it with tape or something?fredswain wrote:Are you trying to fit a nicad or a nimh batter? The nimh batteries are a little larger.

problem with battery fitting
I see a lot of RC10's with the battery holders facing sideways, rather than with the length of the car. I would like to have mine this way, however the 6 cell battery pack does not fit. How are other people getting their batteries to fit? I haven't been able to find any 6 cell hump packs anywhere......

Re: repainting a gold pan
The oven cleaner worked pretty good. The person that owned the car before me painted over the original anodized body... so it was a mess cleaning it. almost done
once again, thanks for the pointers...
