Re: Stumbled on a track at a local park
Meldrum is cool. There's also a track up at Orchards Park in Vancouver, just off SR500 / Fourth Plain. Although I haven't been up there recently and don't know if it's maintained as well as Meldrum.

Re: Mods That Make You Go.... Eewww.
...as a 13 y/o in 1991, I spent three days drilling out all the webbing in my Kyosho Raider suspension arms. I left the ribs intact, but removed the webbing. I was convinced that I'd be reducing weight and increasing run times. Later that year I trimmed the nose tubes and rear motor mount on my new ...

Re: YZ10 rere from Associated
Why would AE rere the exact same kit only months after Yoke? Wouldn't anyone wanting an 870 / YZ10 have already ordered the Yoke? I wonder if AE and Yoke have a gentleman's agreement in place for this kit...?

Yoke rere Ball Cup Size / Traxxas Alternative
Does anyone know the size of the Yoke 870 rere ball cups? I'm looking for white ball cup options / alternatives for a Traxxas Nitro Hawk project that has several cracked ball cups.
Traxxas balls appear to be ~6mm.

Re: "TRX-2" ('92 Reedy Race Inspired)
Yep, really hard to tell from these photos, but looks like Rick's car had the later four hole 1931 arms found on the LSII. Just guessing based on mount location and angle. Tower looks like the early 4708 graphite tower, not the later 2839 tower found on the LSII and in Rad II and Hawk II front end u...

Replaced the glow-in-the-dark rod ends with proper whites, added some Lunsford links, and dyed the rear wheels... Now it looks proper!

Pulled the Nix91 off the shelf and updated with some reman TH1 rear hubs and JC wheels.
Think I'll dye the rear wheels black and leave the front white...

Re: TRX-1 Ready for Refurb
Still no cougar 2 works in that pic😢 No, I haven't been lucky enough to find a Cougar 2 Works. I've toyed with the idea of letting go of the Nix91 to help fund a C2 Works, but would have to find one first. I'm beginning to believe the C2 Works never really existed and was completely made up!

Re: TRX-1 Ready for Refurb
Finally found some old NIB light blue anno shock caps and went into the way-way back machine to tighten up the TRX-1 on the shelf... New caps, refinished rear springs, and new spur dust cover. Also pulled a Green Machine 2 from the bone yard to fit the blue / green box art theme. Now just need to ge...
