Still no cougar 2 works in that pic
No, I haven't been lucky enough to find a Cougar 2 Works.
I've toyed with the idea of letting go of the Nix91 to help fund a C2 Works, but would have to find one first. I'm beginning to believe the C2 Works never really existed and was completely made up!

Please share some pictures of them if you would. I have been getting more and more interested in the C2's. Thanks.
I’ll try and get a group pic in the next few days, bit hard at the mo as we’re selling our place and currently packing everything up for the move. Will post up in the Schumacher forum area
Ripped open the box like a kid on Christmas morning while my wife gave me that look that said a million words. But she's a good sport and knows I'm a kid at heart.
The car appears to have only been run a handful of...

I just got the RPM front arms, but shimmed back like yours, I hit the chassis :( - but the bigger problem is the arms are longer than the stock TRX1 arms, making the front end too wide overall, almost a complete inch (20mm or so) wider than my other...
I recently received a Traxxas project car and I had questions about the differences / similarities between the TRX-1, TRX-3 & Blue Eagle transmissions. Based on pictures I've seen, the trans that's currently in the car is from a blue...

The TRX-1 case has 'TRX' molded into it on the side opposite the motor plate whereas the TRX-3 case does not.
The TRX-3 trans also has a slightly lower CG due to the diff gear being closer to the chassis. I mean literaly you can almost see it...
I have a decent pile of well used vehicles that I mostly pick up to use as part donors. Sometimes in these lots I find one that isn't all that bad, but will never be shelf quality, at least not without replacing a lot of the parts. So I strip them...

I didn't use anything fancy in the rebuild, or mod anything, so there's not really much point in doing a step-by-step on this one. I'll cut to the end and save some time.
Here's the end product:
Well I have finally pulled my finger out and started to build up my first refurbishment. This car is intended to be built to standard specification using used parts in good working condition.
First up, the original chassis decks in need of a good...

A little while ago I was able to get hold of those elusive wing buttons, so they're fitted now and the car is ready to sell to make way for other projects.
It's been a slow paced refurb, fitting it around other life commitments and other RC...
Picked this up off of ebay, wanted another project car (already did a B2 for 17.5 racing). Going to leave this one a little more stock (no big bores). Still not sure if I want to go with a brushless setup or dust off the old Novak Tempest that I had...
I have a vintage XXT it was my second build and got it there at the Ranch Pit in Pomona back in the day- I am trying to get it back on the road- I have a Radiolink RC4GS, a hobbywing 1060 esc and a generic amazon type servo. My tires are pretty much...
