Re: Orangemazdas Re-Re build
Hey man, great to find you here. I guess this is how we build things nowadays, it's the same way I do them now - take as much time to do it as nicely as you can. Back in the day, I threw them together as fast as possible so I could run! I debated long and hard on buying a Re-Re - but I have RC10's, ...

Re: VXL vs XL
I have run a 5900 brushless on 3S in both my 2WD slash LCG and my 2WD LWB LCG stampede and never once have I stripped a gear in over a year of running - I have broken almost every other part, jumped off the roof of my house and garage - zero problems with the gears other than the occasional stripped...

Re: VXL vs XL
I don't know about the savvy part, I don't even know if you can buy the plastic ones anymore - I mean the plastic stuff is really old (dates back tot he 90's). I think for the few dollars it takes to upgrade the idler and diff gear it is worth it - I specifically did not buy the proline tranny becau...

Re: Converting Magnum Jr to 2.4ghz
Okay, i am dying to try this because I too love the magnum Jr.
If using an AM TX to convert, how hard is it and what's involved other than buying the right kit (and what is the right kit)

Re: Possibly got scammed on eBay Fox NIB
if its the guy i think he sold the same fox Nov-28.. jimmylovestoeatspam on eBay. Yes, totally the guy - I bid on that auction too and stupid me, I just figured he must have had two - well he claims it was re-listed due to a non paying bidder now - thing is I would be able to see that in his "...

Re: Possibly got scammed on eBay Fox NIB
Thanks everyone, this is all good info! I cannot believe that he would send it without delivery confirmation - I mean that is HIS protection too - and I am really sure he does not realize that. I think that just this morning he must have read through his comments and messages because he has sent a c...

Possibly got scammed on eBay Fox NIB
OK guys, I purchased a NIB Fox after winning an auction on ebay - just over $400. ( a little history, I have 1500+ feedback 100% - he has 383 - and only 24 of those are sales, 4 of which are neg feedbacks) Right away I'll admit after reading his feedback I was leery ( I want to state I was not accus...

Re: What are you guys using for vintage tire preservation???
I just discovered that baking the tires in the oven makes them look really new!
325 for 15min did nothing to hurt them but they look real shiny and new.

Yeah, I bought a set of the Hornet tires and while they can be made to wok, I don't know about running them at any speed - for display it's OK although far from orig.

Re: HPI modern 5-star wheels on RC10
not trying to revive a old thread, but i would like to add my 2 cents on the hpi wheel conversion the fronts will not work for offroad use the rear will but you can not use the outside hole on the a-arm they WILL rub the shocks the off set is to deep i use them because my buggy setup allows me to u...
