Basket case B5 / B5M
I have an odd request. Does anyone have any exploded diagrams of the B5 & B5M? I got 2 boxes of parts in a trade, and I was told it's B3/T3, B5 & B5M stuff. I feel I have all the B/T3 stuff removed. I'm trying to sort the B5M/B5 stuff. I'd really like to be able to piece together the B5 or B...

Re: Raco Roadrunner project
Here is the battery pack I need to find a replacement for. I also removed the carburetor. I am still trying to find a carburetor rebuild kit for it. I believe it will need more than just a cleaning and primer bulb. I bet the diaphragm is hard and crusty. I have had no luck on finding a direct replac...

Re: Raco Roadrunner project
I removed the steering servo , receiver and battery pack. Sprayed some simple green on the buggy and took it to a car was for a quick power wash. Yes , i plugged the exhaust and wrapped the carburetor to keep water from getting inside.

Re: Raco Roadrunner project
It has a decent layer of grime, spider webs and leaves. The steering servo is seized. Lots of rusty hardware. I had the idea of soaking the rusty hardware in apple cider vinegar to remove the rust. I'd rather not use the new in packs hardware yet.

Raco Roadrunner project
This Raco Roadrunner has been sitting in a shed for a good 20 years. It's previous owner obviously didnt have safe storage in mind. It came with almost nearly enough spare parts to build a 2nd Roadrunner ( with the exception of a frame , fuel tank, front shock towers, wheels & tires) . My plan i...

Re: CNC side work
These are not my pictures. I found these on Google. Someone had made these replacements shock towers.
I believe the owner of the blue Raco is a member here.
I would like to have a set made like these but shaped a bit different so it's not a copy of someone else's work.

Re: CNC side work
I can make parts, not CNC, but manual machines and hand tools. what does the part look like? it is plate or a machined/milled block? The original looks like plastic millled from a block. I've seen other guys make a simple version from thick plate aluminum. It has 2 mounting holes to mount to frame ...

CNC side work
Does anyone here do CNC work on the side ? I have 2 Raco Roadrunner 1/4 Scale buggies that ned front shock towers. 1 is cracked , and the other buggy is missing them. I had the idea of have a set 3d printed , but I was told 3d printed towers wont be strong enough to handle a buggy that big. I have s...

1/10 scale to 1/8 scale
I have a really stupid question. I've searched the internet and came up with nothing. Probably because I myself don't even know how to ask what I want to ask. Is there a " formula " or something used when figuring dimensions on a resized part ? I basically want to build a 1/8 scale Tamiya ...
