Re: Kyosho mint green paint

The closest I have found off the shelf is Montana Gold in color code 6130 - Malachite. It is an acrylic graffiti paint available from art supply stores, although you can also get it from Amazon. The green wing shown is from the Javelin mint cage set. The paint itself is flat, which doesn't matter i...

Re: Just a Rocky Project (Formerly "My Kyosho Developed Yokomo Envy")

I've iterated this battery support/guard way too many times. I was hoping it would help keep the battery in the car by supporting it all the way through and keeping it from moving around so the zip tie could get a better hold, but I'll need something else to do so because it still slides right out. ...

Re: A LITTLE MORE LOSI HISTORY

Pretty sure I had this skateboard as a kid, some years before RC. So losi has been part of my life for a while.

Re: CV Joints for Rocky/Raider and Other Hardware Alternatives

I do run cheap, 70mm dogbones from Amazon in my Raiders (stock is 68mm). With the spring removed, they do work. I imagine it's a different story in the front of a Rocky. I'll be running the OTW125C now instead, as the seems to be the ideal fit. A CV would be nice, though I don't know if my Raiders ...

Re: CV Joints for Rocky/Raider and Other Hardware Alternatives

For reference, the LA258 CVD shaft I used is 60.5mm. Apparently a very unusual size, which is why I was hoping I could get that Yokomo part to work.

Re: CV Joints for Rocky/Raider and Other Hardware Alternatives

The Ultima JJ ReRe universal is the same part number as the Optima Worlds front, so those are probably usable as well. Wonder if I should break the list up between CVD's and Universals. I should have been more specific by saying if you add the actual URL of the spreadsheet to your post, it will embe...

Re: Where EV Dirt Bikes are at Today

Haha yeah man, some guys are just prodigies. Reminds me of the last time I ran r/c a little while ago, I was running mod and getting smoked by a couple of younger guys running stock 17.5's. They were just so smooth and dialed where as I was trying to power my car through the track. He was actually ...

It's the last link near the end of the post.

I was thinking I should eventually go back and upload the images of my test fits rather than leaving them linked to my google account.
